Review:

Proof that you can make a decent strategy game using ZX BASIC! This is a gem of a game from a programmer who went on to produce some more great games. The graphics are basic (no pun intended!), the music and sound effects are just bearable but it is the gameplay that stands out.

There were a lot of strategy games being produced at this early stage in the history of the Spectrum but most were of the simple landowner type where the only strategy was how many crops you planted each month. This game is not that much more advanced but it was the playability that made it that much better. A difficult game where waiting for the results of a revolution is nervewracking and gaining a good score is satisfying.
