Defend yourself by shooting BURPER SPARKLES at the CRAWLERS and BLASTER SPARKIES to take out the SPUTNIKS. You'll see the computer board in a smooth scrolling 3D viewed from above (yawn yawn - just another bit of mega programming) as you crawl around in search of a DISK DRIVE on which to CLONE yourself.
