Review:

Popeye himself is a large sprite that can sometimes get lost in the colourful play area, which does at least have a very nice cyan background. It scrolls very smoothly and has some good animation. Even the sound effects are subtle and work well, with an excellent rendition of the theme music.

The only real criticism is that, like many similar games, lining up the character when climbing and descending ladders can be quite tricky.
