Review:

One of the first football management games and certainly the most famous. It is extremely slow, has limited options and the match highlights feature stick players but it was one of the greatest games ever to be released on the Spectrum. The gameplay was exceptional for the time and it was one of the very few programs written in BASIC that looked like a professional product.

It even contains some features that more modern programs have failed to include such as having a well deserved congratulation screen when you win the FA Cup. The only slight fault with any aspect of the game was that the author decided to include his photograph in all the company adverts for years afterwards!
